Weather is here, wish you were beautiful

If you've been around Atlanta much in the last few weeks, the weather really has been stunning. We've had so much rain, but with that comes crystal clear skies, vibrant sunsets and flowers that are blooming a few weeks earlier than normal. All these things together make me wish we had an extra lane of traffic strictly for Instagram. I know I stress everyone out trying to take a picture of the sky in the middle of rush hour traffic, but I can't help myself. At least I haven't had a wreck yet? ;)

This was a note from my dad one morning. We consider my brother to be somewhat nocturnal and elusive.
My response was: Well he's easily located in the middle of the night. So plan your death accordingly.
Dad: 10-4
Me: Do you make these same jokes to Walter and Lola about how tame and predictable we are?
Dad: You are an adult, simple as that. He, on the other hand...

Ping pong tournaments and mini-moto races at work. We even had a live video feed of the ping pong tournament for those who couldn't attend in real life.

I consider myself a novice mojito maker, but these turned out pretty nicely. We muddled blackberry puree in with the mint. OMG

If you know me, I'm not really a vegetable eater per se. So these turkey lettuce wraps make me feel like I'm still in the game, without selling my soul. The ground turkey is cooked with honey, sesame seeds, and sesame oil (and sometimes soy sauce). Then I'll do Asian broccoli slaw to go on top.

Treasures from HaRim:

He took us up Tebak Mountain in South Korea on Friday with his family. It was so beautiful! Sorry the iphone pictures don't do the view justice. ;)

Now that we all know the truth about this peace sign, I'm making a valiant effort to switch. But not without letting HaRim in on the secret. Worst parent ever?

What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.
